is coaching?
Coaching is the practice of assisting a client to identify
and achieve their goals. It takes the form of a structured conversation. The
coach is your guide and supporter, they have only your interests at heart. A coach can help you achieve major
life changes such as career change, relocation, or realising a long held ambition. It can also help
with more subtle changes, like achieving a better work-life balance, improving your health and wellbeing, reducing stress,
and improving confidence. A
coach will help you consider where you want to go, and how you might get there.
In the workplace coaching can improve productivity and performance, increase confidence, reduce stress,
develop skills and assist with career change and progression. Coaching focuses on looking at you as a whole person, not just an
employee, parent, or spouse.
It is completely confidential.
Coaching can be carried
out face-to-face or over the telephone.
